Analysis of the Choice Behaviour towards Docked and Dockless Shared Bicycles based on User Experience 基于用户体验的有桩和无桩共享单车选择行为分析

摘要:无桩共享单车系统(如Mobike和Ofo)在中国大城市中的数量和使用方面取得了巨大的增长,这些单车取代了之前受地方政府严格监管的传统有桩停靠自行车系统。然而,有桩自行车系统仍然在运行,特别是中小城市中,这些城市的有桩共享单车系统仍由地方政府运营。本研究旨在从用户体验的角度揭示这两个共享自行车系统的用户选择行为,并以佛山市顺德区的案例为研究对象,找到两个系统的双赢策略。本研究采用结构方程模型和二元logit模型来识别选择行为的影响因素。发现用户体验在两种自行车的使用意向中起着关键作用,包括便利性,骑行体验和服务水平等因素都会产生影响。年龄是区分用户群体的最重要指标,因为老年人更喜欢有桩的自行车,而年轻人偏爱无桩自行车。有桩和无桩的共享单车系统在顺德共同运作,因为它们能够满足不同用户群的需求而几乎没有重叠。同时建议采用结合了有桩和无桩共享单车优点的新系统,对于中小城市来说将是更好的解决方案。

Abstract: The major cities of China have experienced massive growth in the number and usage of dockless shared bicycle systems, such as Mobike and Ofo, which have replaced the traditional docked bicycle systems that are heavily regulated by local governments. However, docked bicycle systems are still in operation, especially in small and medium-sized cities that have docked shared bicycle systems run by the local government. This study aims to reveal the user choice behaviours for these two shared bicycle systems from the perspective of user experience and to find win-win strategies for the two systems, based on a case study of the Shunde district in Foshan city. The structural equation model and binary logit model are employed to identify the impact factors of the choice behaviours. It is found that user experience plays a key role in the use intention for two kinds of bicycles, including factors such as convenience, riding experience, and level of service. Age is the most important indicator distinguishing the user groups, as older people prefer docked bicycles while younger people prefer dockless ones. Docked and dockless shared bicycle systems operate together harmoniously in Shunde as they satisfy the demands of different user groups with little overlap. It is suggested that a new shared bicycle system, which combines the advantages of both docked and dockless shared bicycles, would be a better solution for small and mid-size cities.
